Visa Canada just announced the two new visa options for European countries, Czech and Denmark citizens. The two new visas provide citizens visa-free travel to Canada for up to 180 days within any six month period.
What is a Visa?
A visa is a document issued by a foreign government that allows an individual to enter that country. In most cases, it’s a stamp in your passport that shows the date you entered and left the country. Visa Application Requirements
In order to apply for a Canadian visa, you will need to provide proof of your identity and citizenship. To prove your identity, you can submit a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued photo ID. You also need to provide proof of your citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate. Finally, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to travel to Canada. This could include a copy of your passport information page or a letter from the embassy or consulate confirming that you are authorized to travel to Canada.
Types of Visas
If you are a citizen of the Czech Republic or Denmark, and you want to visit Canada, you will need to obtain a visa.
There are three different types of visas that can be used when travelling to Canada: tourism, business, and study. Each type has its own specific requirements and privileges.

Tourist visas are valid for up to six months and can be used for both short-term visits (less than six months) as well as extended stays (more than six months). To qualify for a tourist visa, you must be visiting Canada solely for tourism purposes and not for any other reason.
Business visas are usually valid for three months and can be used for visits related to business activities such as meetings, conventions, or trade shows. To qualify for a business visa, you must have a signed contract from your Canadian sponsor confirming that your visit is related to business activities.
Study visas are intended for students who plan on studying full time in an approved educational institution in Canada. To qualify for a study visa, you must have an official letter from your school stating that you will be attending classes full time and providing information about the course(s) you will be taking.
How to Apply for a Visa
If you’re a Czech or Danish citizen and you want to travel to Canada, you’ll need to obtain a visa. Here’s how to apply for one.
To apply for a Canadian visa, you’ll first need to create an account with the Canadian Visa Application Centre (CVAc). After creating your account, you can begin the visa application process by completing the online application form. The CVAc will then request some required documentation from you, including your passport photo and application fee.
Once you’ve submitted all of your information and paid the application fee, the CVAc will send you an email notification confirming your application has been received. You’ll then have 30 days to submit additional documentation if needed. Once the CVAc has reviewed all of your documents, they will send you a letter confirming your visa application has been approved or denied. If it’s approved, they will provide instructions on how to lodge your visa at a Canadian embassy or consulate.
